Product Details
This minimal knits | DESIGNED MK#81 scarf can be made with about 400 metres – 438 yards of: 50 grams of gorgeous 2ply/lace kid mohair plus silk, or 100 grams of gorgeous 4ply/fingering/sock yarn, or 200 grams of gorgeous 8ply/DK yarn. This scarf has curved edges, so it sits comfortably around our neck and shoulders. This crescent shaped scarf drapes beautifully, looks the same on both sides – front and back, left and right - can be worn in all sorts of ways, and is quick to knit because the pattern uses needles larger than is standard for the yarn. After the first row it’s just two rows knit then two rows purl all along, with some little decorative loops that increase significantly to make it long and curved and make the centre also cute.
This scarf was made with 4 ply yarn & measures 204cm / 80½ inches, by 180cm / 71 inches & 23cm / 9 inches down the middle
5 mm / US 8 circular needles when using 2ply kid mohair or 4ply yarn
6.5mm / US 10½ circular needles when using 8ply yarn
