Marling Festival

I used two strands of fingering weight yarn held together and changed color if yarn runs out, independent if I was in middle of row or at beginning of row. This created a marled effect throughout. You can work this shawl with a single color or playing with color blocks as well as knitting shawl with one strand dk weight yarn.

The shawl is a triangle shawl, knitted in brioche pattern, separated with garter lines. In these garter lines increases are worked just at the edge of the shawl which makes the shawl less pointy/ deep.

Yarn Approx. 260-300g of residuals of fingering yarn 400m/ 437yards per 100g, or DK weight yarn.
