I created a floral pattern in which the little roses and the background sometimes set themselves apart and sometimes align. Through the changing colors the flowers come to the fore sometimes, and sometimes take a backseat.
To make sure the pattern is not too unsettling it is reasonable to use a yarn with long color transitions.
Use a new thread for every other row. Work with two balls of the same colors, but with different colors at the beginning. This way the pattern will evolve all by itself.
