I have had many years as a knitter and now 'almost 90' I wanted an easy pattern to knit for the arrival of my great grandchild. The pattern worked well but I must admit I did alter the pattern slightly by doing 4 rows of the contrasting border in a slightly different design. The bootees would look better in the photo if they had a little tissue paper inside so that they stand upright and the pattern can be seen.
3 patterns all of which are easy knitting and look very cute when knitted up, knitted various in different colours for sending to charity for prem babies in Milawi.
