Magazine Issue 17 by Noro

A friend had this and I loved it, colours and patterns, enjoying just looking at the pictures at the moment.

I purchased this magazine purely for the jacket pattern on the front cover. The magazine arrived quickly and was protected by a cardboard backing which ensured that it was in pristine condition on arrival. I couldn’t wait to make this item but didn’t use the yarn suggested as it required four 200g balls at £35 per ball. I searched for substitution yarns and found a very close match which I was pleased with. I found the pattern easy to follow after watching demonstrations of making mitred shapes...

Interesting reading. I'll make something from it later I have a stash, which has older yarns, so the comparison chart is very useful

Beautifully constructed garments with lovely colour changing yarn.i bought for the front cover design.unfortunately couldn't find any stockist with the colour I wanted or number of balls I needed to make it
