When Iearned this specific cable stitch, not only did I fall in love with it, it spoke to me, as well. The texture, the simplicity, all of it called to me to be a large throw that you could cuddle up in on a chilly evening. This throw works up fairly quickly with the King Cole Big Value Super Chunky yarn, large needles and an 8 row repeat. The blanket also has a hefty amount of weight to it, so it feels like a nice, warm hug.
This pattern uses a variety of knits, purls, k2tog, kfb, C6F & C6B cables. There is a video tutorial to help you with the blanket, as well as a video tutorial to help with the Russian Join method. Included in the ad-free pdf is a chart, row checklist and printable gift tags. This pattern has been tested.
