London Skylines Cushions

A set of cushions designed to use the wonderful array of multicolour yarns now available, pastel dawn colours would also work well.

These cushions uses a mix of intarsia and stranded colourwork. The front of the cushion is charted with only minimal instructions for setting up the colourwork, the back of the cushion has written instructions. Small amount of embroidery required to finish on some cushions

Materials required for set of four cushion: size 3 mm knitting needles, 500g/1500 metres DK weight yarn in main colour, 300g/840 metres contrast colour DK weight yarn, 3 x 2 cm buttons for each cushion back, 40 cm square cushion pads.

NOTE: The cushion works best if strongly contrasting colours are used.

Finished size of each cushion: approximately 16-inches/40 cm square

Gauge: 2.5 cm/1-inch = 5 rows and 6 sts over colour pattern

The designs would also make good wall art if stretched over backing boards.
