Product Details
This is a pattern for a small blanket which is ideal for a car seat or a Moses basket. It measures approx 55x65 cm so it doesn't require folding two or even four times which can cause overheating.
It can be knitted either in one colour or in two (main colour and contrasting trim). That is why in suggested materials I specified two balls of yarn required - either two of the same colour (you will use just under ball and a half) or a ball of one colour for the main part and another ball in contrasting colour for the trim.
I specified 3mm needles however you might prefer working DK on 4mm. Please note my gauge and finished size are measured after wash and blocking.
Good choice of yarn would be acrylic, baby acrylic DK, cotton/bamboo blend DK, or any DK yarn you tried and prefer for your baby knitwear.

- The choice of needles is due to width of the blanket - I prefer working with circular needles, yet you might prefer long single point sticks.
