I like it because it makes a finished product with texture and softness. The part I don't like is that the working yarn clumps up as you knit and frequently has to be smoothed out.

It's a chunky weight yarn, but it knits and crochets very lightly and because of the ripple finish, the simplest stitch looks fantastic! A wonderful crochet yarn, this is perfect for blankets and shawls, and there are so many colours to choose from! Solid, classic colours, some beautiful heathered shades and Lion Brand's "painterly" shades, which are variegated blends of colour that subtly self stripe as you knit or crochet. I love this yarn for shawls. It's so soft and warm.
I use the Lion Brand Homespun yarn almost exclusively for my knitting projects. It’s soft, it’s acrylic (so not allergy inducing), washable, and absolutely lovely!! The picture I included is the Lagoon yarn. I’m still working on my current project with this new yarn.
