The wonder of Lion Brand Fishermen's Wool is its natural fibres, and natural lanolin which make this yarn pretty much waterproof! Perfect for chunky sweaters and accessories, this yarn has fantastic stitch definition so it will bring out your cables and stitch patterns beautifully. The colour palette includes solids, tweeds and heathers, all undyed, so that you could dye this yarn if you wanted; you could felt it - and it is a fantastic yarn to use for homeware. Cushions and blankets look absolutely stunning in this natural yarn. Aran weight, this yarn will knit up on 5.5mm needles, or crochet on a 5mm hook.

This is my first time using Lionbrand fisherman yarn. It is lovely to knit with and a good value for the money. I purchased it to make a shawl collar sweater, and I am very pleased with how it is looking. I would definitely recommend this yarn.
Pricey, but knitting up well.
The fishermans wool is knitting up well. I chose to use a smaller knitting needle from what was recommended on the wool. I only had one skein that had one broken section. It has good body and firm feel.
