I’m only using the pattern for the border at the moment. I’ve already knitted a leaf blanket from an old pattern which only had two lines of crocheting which I didn’t think complimented the blanket but thankfully found this pattern. After completing this blanket, I will use the whole of the baby leaf pattern.

Whilst clearing out my late mother in laws bits pieces we came across a pattern like this. I kept it and some months ago our granddaughter announced she was pregnant. I felt it was like a sign and started knitting but it soon became clear the elements were not as they should be so I was delighted to find the leaf pattern. The pattern has been easy to follow and progress has only slowed down as there are a lot of pieces to sew together. I am just finishing sewing the last few squares into place...
