Try using the magic loop method, or two circulars at once to work the round. Use these 60cm. circular knitting needles for large hats, small jumpers. Use them for flat knitting too, just like straights! At the end of each row, just switch the needles around as you would with normal straight needles. Your project sits in your lap as you work, instead of hanging off the needles; when knitting a large heavy project, your arms will thank you for this! Love Crafts parcel arrival gets me excited.
These needles are so smooth and light to use. I have arthritic fingers and they cause no pain even after a long stint of knitting. Most of my work is flat but I prefer circular needles for the extra space when knitting blankets, which I do a lot. Love Crafts customer service is excellent so the needles arrived well packaged and promptly. I recommend them both to you.
These needles are so comfortable to use and especially ideal for those who do a lot of knitting or have painful finger joints. They are light and the cable does not catch on stitches when moving along a row. I use them for straight work moving back and forth along each row and knitting in the round. They are reasonably priced and Love Crafts keep a good stock. I thoroughly recommend them.
