During college I spent my holiday breaks working in the family business, which is to say that I was on a factory floor sharpening industrial knives. When the weather was cold I lived in crew-neck sweatshirts. Truth be told I miss those days. I still love the comfort of my old favorite sweatshirts. I designed this as a way to unite my past and present--a way to carry the crew necks with me.
The Knife Grinder’s Daughter is knit from the bottom up in the round. A continuous stripe of ribbing runs from the side hems up the body and down the sleeves to the wrists.
Yarn Requirements:
1390 (1550, 1725, 1900) 2025 (2200, 2400, 2500) yards or 1271(1417, 1577, 1737) 1851 (2011, 2194, 2286) meters fingering weight yarn.
Techniques used: Short rows, decreasing, picking up stitches, knitting in the round.

Loving the pattern , plain but extra detail to make it stylish and special. Uses some different terminology from what I am used to explanations included in text are helpful. Looking forward to finishing.
Still working through it. The bottom ribbing is a bit tedious but the pattern seems to be well written so far.

love the yarn knits up well. Would appreciate a pre-view of the pattern, I would not have chosen one knitting in the round!! Have divided it into front and back - think I will struggle when I get to the arm holes and the neck!! Love the pattern style
