This wool was very easy to crochet with. I’m making a blanket and was given a couple of balls which I started with. It looked so good that I have now purchased another 5 and my blanket is looking great. I’ve found that it looks great mixing the different colours within the same riot brand. I will be buying more!
The colours are lovely. I made a beautiful granny square blanket without having to cut and change yarns. Almost finished second one and third one to be darted- all presents gratefully received.

I've used King Cole Riot DK yarn for many years. Some colours I like more than others, and the blues and purples are my favourites. Be aware, the yarn isn't a consistent thickness, there are stretches of very thin yarn, and some that are quite a lot thicker. This is normal for this particular yarn. I often use a much bigger hook than recommended to produce a light, drapey fabric ideal for shawls and wraps. a 4.5mm hook mkaes a fabric suitable for a sweater or cardigan.
