This new King Cole yarn is made from 100% recycled materials. Available in 10 beautiful subtle colours. This new yarn is perfect for outer garments and ideal for home accessories. Although we recommend a 5mm needle, using a 4 or 4.5mm needle will give a much sturdier finish to your knitting which is ideal for bags and other accessories.

Lovely colour but the wool is not what I would say is Aran wool...it's not as thick as Aran wool should be, maybe because it's recycled? I can't use it for the project I wanted it for, it's more like a double knit wool. But will certainly use it for a garment that requires double knit wool.
This wool feels rough and cheap. I buy a lot of king cole products but this time I went for the cheaper version and now regret this.
I'm making a hat with this yarn and it's going well. I like the flecks of color that appear from time to time. I like that the yarn is recycled. It seemed a bit coarse at first but the hat has a soft feel and should be warm.
Aran thickness, but lightweight, comfortable and warm to wear. Also has a lovely range of colours. I bought this because it has wool in it and I don’t usually buy wool, but I am very pleased with this product as it is warmer than I usually wear.
Knits well. Soft and snuggly.
Lovely yarn to knit with.
I am enjoying knitting with this yarn. It has an interesting “tweedy” effect which is very suitable for the sweater I’m knitting for my husband. It has rather a rough texture, so I would not like to wear it next to my skin!
