Product Details
Juturna is a Roman goddess of fire, water, protection and balance, and is symbolised by fountains.
This is a large cosy shawl using stocking stitch and reversed stocking stitch, fluted at the bottom edge, rising to an eyelet pattern towards the top, like the spray off a fountain. There is some shoulder shaping to make the shawl a better fit.
Although I have knitted the shawl in a plain colour, i think it would look really attractive in a variegated yarn.
I shall be wearing this a lot during winter.
The sample is shown in Ashford Tekapo DK/8ply. A suggested substitute yarn is below.
