Hungry Caterpillar Scarf

This pattern is especially close to my heart. It’s my very first official design, and it draws inspiration from a book many of us treasured growing up: The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The scarf can be made shorter or longer simply; however, the length of the detailed scarf is 52 inches. The gauge outlined is just a suggestion, but it is not important for this specific pattern.

Materials needed: 3.5 mm hook, scissors, yarn needle, ~50g of DK teal, dark green, and light green, ~10g of DK red, and a little bit of yellow, brown, and purple (which makes it a great chance to utilise some yarn leftovers!) Optionally, you can incorporate 50g of DK multicoloured wool if you like the gradient look of the one the images show.
