Hayfield is always good wool
This is my all time favourite acrylic DK. The colour range is fantastic. It looks and feels like wool at a fraction of the cost. I use it to knit toys and dolls. It’s very sturdy, standing up to lots of play and cuddles and washes well.
Lovely and soft wool
I bought the Hayfield DK because it matched the colour I needed to knit a beanie for my adult grandson. As it happened I managed to make two out of the one 'ball' so gave the second to my daughter-in-law. Both were very pleased.

Beautiful yarn - excellent quality - which knitted a fabulous hoodie for my daughter. It’s in the post to her now (from Wales to Manchester). She will love it!!
It does pill a bit but being acrylic that is common. Yarn is consistent and shipping quick. Will buy again

This has always been my favourite acrylic DK yarn for knitting and crocheting toys. It looks and feels like wool, has good stitch definition and a fantastic variety of colours. It is also very reasonably priced.
