Unfortunately there was a slight error in the pattern a , was missing but as I am an experienced knitter (55 years!) there was no problem. and I managed to work it out. The slippers didn't turn out very well and they look most odd, very splayed near the ankle, (suitable for a frog!) of course it could be because I used different wool but I did check the tension. I am going to show the slippers to friends as I am sure they would have a good laugh! I can still where them though but will have to wear very thick socks with them.
