Granny mitts

Pattern revised Dec 2014(and checked by testers) to make thumb instructions clearer... and smooth out all instructions :-)

I have a current fascination for the Granny square and loved designing those little mitts. I'm sure you'll love crocheting yours too, and they'll keep your fingers toasty !

A very quick and fun project, with step by step photos and instructions

Makes great gifts !

You will need 2 skeins of contrasting colors Noro "Silk garden" and a 5 mm/ H hook.. (or any worsted weight yarn you may have around)

The pattern gives instruction for woman's sized mitts but you could easily make them for kids just by using a smaller hook (last pic shows mitts I made for my 4yo with a 4 mm hook and dk yarn)
