Product Details
The Granny Dot hat and scarf set is a fun, colourful take on the granny stripe with some extra dots (puff stitches) thrown in. This is an easy wide scarf and slouchy beanie hat pattern with a ribbed brim.
Skill Level: The scarf pattern (in adult size with guidance for alterations)is great of beginners & the hat for those with a little more experience or looking to increase their skills.
Please note that pom poms can be a potential choking hazard for babies, infants and small children. Do not leave them unattended with a pom pom or whilst wearing this hat.
The pattern, written in US terms, is worked mainly in double crochet (UK Treble), dot / bobble stitches and the hat requires some decrease stitches and working in the back loops only to create the brim (there is a link to a tutorial in the pattern). Foundation chains are included but a modification is given for those who prefer to work into a starting chain.
