The Gingerbread Family Christmas Decorations PDF pattern is available to download for a small price. The PDF download version includes many more in-depth, step by step photographs throughout, which are not available online. You will also receive a printer friendly copy too.
You can make a whole family of gingerbread people with this pattern, both male and female shapes are given. This pattern creates flat yet chunky gingerbreads, just like the real biscuits. You can use them as hanging tree decorations, create a string of bunting with them, or just make a fun display by stacking them on a plate.
This pattern can be made with any yarn/hook size. The yarn/hook size you choose will determine the size of your finished Gingerbread person. As a guide, I used Chunky (US Bulky) yarn with a 6mm hook and made a gingerbread approximately 11cm tall and a 4mm hook for 8cm tall.
