Ghost cat

Almost one year ago, I came out with the idea to gift my twin sister with a cat softie (as she loves cats, besides being a veterinarian !) in a Halloween costume.

The reason why is really simple. When kids, we were growing up in Calgary (Canada), where we learnt about “trick or treat ?”

Our mum decided to rip a white bed sheet in two and cut two holes on each piece as eyes, so to have a simple ghost costume to put over our heavy winter clothes . Both the outlines of the sheets and eyes were simply embellished using the blanket stitch and some colourful threads… Ive tried to replicate the same embellishments for the cats costume, just to remember a nice touch of colour of my childhood !!! We were so happy when back home with our plastic pumpkins filled to the brim with every sort of candies, which were put in a top cupboard of the kitchen to avoid an inevitable indigestion from sweets….
