You can use any yarn/gauge/needles with this pattern as well - the last page has calculations you can do using your gauge so that you can put the numbers you will need into the pattern. So whether you're using fingering, sport, or chunky yarn, you can adapt this pattern. It will also work with any circumference of bust as you can use your bust measurement to calculate numbers to put into the pattern as well.
