Product Details
The gentian granny square is inspired by the beautiful bright blue gentians that bloom in the Alps and also in Teesdale in the UK. I wanted to represent their tiny bright blue flowers that pop out of the meadow and found the Kingfisher blue cotton and a 3D design perfect to do so. This square is made of a four small squares each with a flower to represent how the gentians grow in small groups but slightly apart from each other.
This square would be perfect to make into a mini cushion or serveral squares could be sewn together to make a larger cushion or even a blanket.
