Product Details
This is a detailed written knitting pattern in pdf format for a baby’s fox/wolf themed hat and booties set. The pattern includes row by row written instructions, a chart and photographs to help you. The hat and booties are knit flat on two needles, with a seam at the back, using DK weight yarn. The fox/wolf motif on the hat is added using the intarsia method, the facial features on the booties are Swiss Darned (duplicate stitch) and the ears are knit separately and sewn on to the booties. These cute accessories would look great on your little cub! Suggested yarns: 100% wool DK or a wool/acrylic mix DK. I used Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK for the fox set and Stylecraft Life DK with Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake for the wolf set, however you could use any alternative yarn that knits to the same tension/gauge. Tension/Gauge: Hat - 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm/4in using US6/4mm needles over st st. Booties - 24 sts and 32 rows to 10cm/4in using US3/3.25mm needles over st st.
