Product Details
These aren’t your average mittens, they’re tech-friendly, hand-warming little lifesavers! I designed this pattern especially for chilly days when you need an extra boost of warmth. Hidden inside each mitten is a small pocket made to hold a USB heating pad (the kind you plug into a power bank). It keeps your hands warm while you’re walking the dog, sitting at your desk, or just relaxing with a cup of tea.
The main part of the mittens is made on a 46 or 48 needle Sentro (or Addi King), and the cozy top pocket is made using the 22 needle machine. I love combining both sizes to get a snug and functional fit. There’s just enough room inside for your fingers and that little warm secret.
Material needed:
- 50 gr of acrylic worsted yarn or wool
- Chenille or Velvet yarn
- Crochet hook 4.5 mm
- Addi 46 or Sentro 48 needles
- Sentro 22 or Addi express (if making the top pocket)
- Heating pads link inside the PDF file
