Product Details
This pattern is for DK jumpers (1 – 2, 2 – 3, 3 – 5, and 5 – 7 years); mittens (6 – 12 months and 1 – 2 years) and hats (6 months – 2 years, 2 – 5 years and 5 – 7 years). Every item is knitted in a very simple two row pattern using knit and purl stitches. This super stretchy knit can be used to create two different looks, all you do is reverse the two-row pattern. “Yew” is a textured pattern and “Cypress” is a smoother look, similar to fisherman’s rib. The shaping is minimal making this suitable for a beginner. Children vary in size, just like birth weight, so it might be better to go by measurement rather than age! The stitch used for these garments is super stretchy and the size guides below give a range of measurements and indicative ages.

- I used yarn 250m per 100g ball any DK yard (22 Sts x 30 rows = 10x10 cm) is suitable. To knit the first two sizes of hats & gloves you need 1 ball
