Knitting pattern instructions to make a lovely cabled brimmed hat in Aran weight yarn. A fairly simple cable pattern which is easy to read and follow. The hat can be worn with or without a pom pom. You will need 100g of aran weight yarn (a little more if you want a matching pom pom) size 4mm and 5mm knitting needles, plus a cable needle. Knitted flat on straight needles . Will fit adult size head.
