Dressing gown set for 18" Dolls

Fashion Knits for 18" dolls clothes knitting pattern. Original Design.

Lovely pattern to knit your special 18" doll her very own set of underwear, (vest and knickers), plus cosy slipper socks and hooded dressing gown.

**Easy to knit. **

Knitted in double knitting wool on size 4.00 mm and 3.25 mm needles.

Dressing gown takes 100 grams D/K wool. (I used James C Brett Twinkle D/K but any standard D/K weight will do)

You will also need a small amount of D/K contrast for the edgings, pockets and belt, (approx 15 grams), plus approx 10 grams white for the slipper socks.

What little girl could want more for her doll?

My Grand daughter loves her 18"Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her 'Knitting Nanny Mo' to design and knit some for her. This underwear set was designed because my grand daughter was most unhappy that her doll had no vest and knickers and needed a dressing gown, like hers,for when she was ready for bed.
