DMC threads are a high quality cotton thread with a wide range of colours. There are six threads in each band and they can be divided quite easily.
DMC thread goes far. It is 6 thread thick so can be split into combinations. Its good quality and there is a wide range of colours available.

Bought this thread for a cross stitch piece and it works perfectly. Very easy to separate individual threads and feels very good quality! One roll of thread will stretch quite far if you are doing a 1 strand or two strand piece.
