You can use any hook size + matching yarn. The cactus will only be smaller or larger.
The cactus is crocheted in 1 piece. It is very child friendly, as there are no loose pieces.

You crochet each Joekedoe in one piece, that means there’s little sewing involved. You need maximum 100 grams of Stone Washed by Scheepjeswol. You can of course use any yarn of your choice: your Joekedoe will only be larger or smaller. These Joekedoes are all safe for children.
