It was for a present and hasn't been made yet, but as a sewer myself I can see that the kit was really good. Nice quality fabric and threads, and lots of little extras to make the finished item really attractive, some gold thread, some beads, that kind of thing. Looked really nice.
Easy to read clear pattern. Good thread to use
Good so far but will take a while to complete this cross stitch.
I wish I’d checked the size before I bought as it’s quite large difficult to handle. The patterns are spread over several sheets of large paper dividing half of the individual pictures in half so I had to cut paste them together which I feel is an unnecessary hassle when they could have been printed on smaller sheets of paper, making it easier to handle. I’ve only just started stitching, having to start upside down in order to reach the top so it’s going to be a slow start!
This is quite a complex embroidery. Mainly cross-stitch but also quite a bit of back stitch and couching. Also quite a bit of gold thread work.
Love the design. Didn’t realise there was so much metallic thread used or crouching work. It’s a big project but I like it.
looks like a dificult kit but my wife has until Cgristmas to complete it
