Billy Jacket and Buddy Bear - Knitting Pattern in Debbie Bliss Rialto DK & Baby Cashmerino
based on 3 reviews over the last year
I made the Baseball Jacket from another Debbie Bliss pattern and adapted this pattern to make a matching jacket for the Teddy. I think a smiley face suits the Teddy! I scored four as the Teddy pattern is incomplete. The back of the head section ends with 9 stitches but no further instructions. Other parts of the head have stitch markers but no follow up instructions. It wasn’t clear how to sew up the head sections. Photographs of the steps to complete the Teddy would have helped greatly. Also some more guidance on how to make darts on the Teddy’s body sections would have been helpful. Otherwise it was lovely to be able to make a matching jacket and toy for my young friend.

Very easy to understand pattern with great photos. Clear concise instructions. I don’t normally buy Debbie Bliss patterns because they usually are made with specialised yarn that she sells but this one is in DK and is working out well for tension. Very happy with this adorable little pattern.
