I have never knitted socks before, and my friends who knit with double pointed needles all tell me it is easy. However, I feel I would get confused doing it their way and so deferred. Since seeing this pattern by Alice Neal, and following the tutorial video by Merion Willis, I am now well on the way to knitting my first sock - woohoo! Thank you both.
Video was good but missed some parts out according to the pattern so I made up myself to fit the pattern.
