Lovely wool. Would give it 5 stars if it came in a ball, but as it comes in a skein, I can only give it 4 at most. If you fail to wind the wool into a ball (which can be difficult to do as it is not always easy to find an end and sometimes the strands get muddled), you can end up with a tangled mass of wool, that takes -hours- to unravel and gets matted. Be warned!

Very fine and harder to knit, but lovely soft light finish
The baby alpaca 3ply is lovely to knit with and very light. I ended up having to order more, as stupidly I hadn't taken into account that you get less yardage per oz for 3ply than you do with 2ply and my 60+ yr old pattern is for 2ply. However, both lots were the same dye number. Yarn comes in hanks rather than balls, but an extra pair of hands or the back of a chair sorts that out very quickly. Would definitely order more. Just need more babies.
