Basic New Baby Cardigan set
This pattern is for a very basic plain round neck, raglan sleeve cardigan with 2 variations, textured squares or lacey, to make it more interesting and suitable for boy or girl The sleeves are knit first to the armhole ,then the body is knit all in one to the armhole where the sleeves are introduced and it is then knit all in one piece to the neck. The front bands are knit after completion. Then to finish off the set there is cute pair of pull-on bootees with doubled over cuff. This is my essential go-to set for all newborns.

easy to follow and a good basic
Nice simple sticking stitch pattern. Having both sleeves and body on the needles before reducing was quite tricky. Front of cardigan not symmetrical where sleeves join with body.
