Barbie Mermaid Tail Suit

This pattern is written in US terms. Skill level is intermediate as the shell / crocodile stitch can seem a little tricky to begin with, but it is fairly straightforward once you get started.

Materials : Cotton Yarn in Blue: ~[Recommended yarn: Paintbox Yarns Cotton 4 Ply (50g, 170m/186 yrds, 100% cotton), 2 balls of Mist (15)]~; Crochet Hook Sizes 2.5 mm (US C/2) and 3mm (US D/3); Stitch Markers (optional); Yarn Needle; Safety Pin

Finished measurement from bodice to tail fin = 10 inches / 25.5cm.

Gauge 15 st x 8 rows = 2”x2” with dc on 3mm hook;
