All In A Puff Scarf

I started this scarf as a travel project that stayed in my little alpaca yarn bag for over a year. It began as a way to practice a new stitch and see how a cake of Lion Brand Mandala Genie yarn would work up. I would grab is when I knew I would be somewhere that I would have a bit of a wait, like the school pick up line or the doctor's office and I wanted something to fiddle with. The amount of time I actually spent on it would only come up to a few hours if I had focused on it instead of the months it took me to finish it. It's a great "mindless" pattern since it's a 1-row repeat if you want a quick make without having to refer back to a pattern over and over again. It's a fun, textured, gender-neutral design that proves warmth with a lightweight fabric. With 1 cake of LB Mandala yarn, the finished scarf measured 7" wide by 63" long, and the pattern includes measurements and instructions for other lengths.
