Construction: These slippers are knit flat, and then seamed up the back and sole. Stitches for the sock are then picked up around the inside cuff and worked in the round.
Pattern is 3 pages long and includes easy to follow directions. Additional step-by-step instructions and pictures are provided for confusing areas. Techniques used: Knit, purl, M1L, k2tog, seaming, picking up stitches, and working in a round.
Yarn:
Worsted weight wool (Brown): 170 (190, 210, 225, 240, 260) yds
Sport weight (Cream): 120 (130, 140, 150, 160, 170) yds
Needles: US 6 straight; US 3 dpn (4) Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Gauge: Shoe - On US 6, 24 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches; Sock - On US 3, 25 sts & 34 rows = 4 inches
