Hi, my mum taught me how to knit when I was four and a half years old, I remember enjoying using lots of coloured wool and having a go at fair isle. I taught myself to crochet and my biggest project spanned from my 9yr to 14th yr when I completed a patchwork crochet blanket for my bed using scrap wools boardering it all finally in bright orange!! (it was the 70s!!).I like setting myself knitting challenges and achieving them. My biggest knitting achievement to date being Barnaby's christening blanket. When I get stuck on a pattern I like nothing more than discussing it with my Mum! And now discussing new knitting ideas with my Grand daughter.
