My mum taught me how to knit when I was a little girl, I would knit clothes for my dolls. When I started high school we had sewing lessons and I really enjoyed sewing. Then I started to make my own clothes and some for my nieces. When I was getting married I made my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses. I do look back on that now and think how brave I was, but you are when you are young! In between all that I was still knitting, but when the children came along not so much, just didn’t have the time. In lock down I had a go at crochet and I enjoyed that too.
