I started years ago learning to crochet, I guess I was a teenager (45 years old now). When I got my eldest two (twins) I met a nice lady who happened to be a knitwear designer, she learned me how to knit. Never been without a project on my needles since. I love knitting socks, shawls, hats, cardigans and so on. I'm not restricted to one favorite technique but love fair-isle, brioche, mosaic and lace with beads. Knitting is a must-do in my life, it's a necessity that helps me to relax in my busy days. I am a mum of three (17, 17 and 15 years old) and married to Eric. All of my three kids have ASD (autism). I work full time in nightshifts as a nurse. Besides knitting (and sometimes crocheting) my dogs are very important, that explains why I have 5 of them, all adopted from shelters or mistreated and abandoned by other people.
