After a long and successful career as the head teacher of a large primary school I now spend my time pursuing my interests in making things. I have been sewing and knitting since I was at school but during my career I never found the time to sew or knit. My favourite things to make are shawls and garments for babies. I also knit, on a regular basis, hats, cardigans and blankets for the Special Care Baby Unit in my local hospital.
