I learned to knit when I was a young child. I can’t remember not being able to knit! Can do some basic crochet but I never took to it as I don’t like the fabric it produces although I do like and enjoy Tunisian crochet. During lockdown I bought a basic sewing machine to try to teach myself to sew. I was determined to make all my own clothes which was a little optimistic. Then I discovered Donna Jordan and quilt making and I absolutely love it. So now I always have a quilt and two pieces of knitting in progress. I enjoy birdwatching, walking and learning about and taking photographs of nature
