My mother tried to teach me to crochet many years ago and I never really mastered it. It either just got wider or narrower, never with even edges. Just over 18 months ago I watched a lady whilst on holiday crochet a beautiful baby shawl and felt inspired. So with some refreshing from my 82 year old delighted Mum I have tried again, and I have fallen in love with crocheting. So much so it’s very rare for me not to have a hook in my hand. I can not believe I used to just sit, now I can not imagine not crocheting whilst sitting. I hope my projects can inspire someone else to fall in love with crochet.
