We have two new babies due in June, gender unknown, so I'm getting ready with some makes. I think this is for a boy but could be neutral. I didn't use the he was recommended yarn. I used double knitting and 4 mm knitting needles so I took the pattern up two sizes. The pattern is on multiples of 12 stitches so it's easy to do. I added 4 extra rows of blocks too.
