A bit tricky to start, remembering whether you were on the right or left lace pattern also to remember the 9 stitches at the beginning or end of the lace panel My copy had a mistake which delayed my progress but was soon sorted by Pauline at LoveCrafts

Thank you again Bridie, Now to start knitting. I am going to use the Rowan wool recommended on the boxy sweater and I will check the Aran wools for the Hunter sweater.

Sorry just read your comments, you mention 9 stitches at the beginning and end of pattern, not sure where I do this.

Hi, I am getting the pattern on on side of the jumper only. Do you always start with three knits and the lace pattern and end with lace pattern and then three knits.

I like your version better than the original...seems more "firmly" knit...and the color is also an appealingly cozy "toasty" shade. Thanks for sharing your work!
