I made this on the round to make a jumper rather than a cardigan. I also used an 8 ply cotton and used the directions for the largest size as the pattern is only up to 2 years and Hannah is a tall 2 1/2 yr old. I had some trouble understanding the leave directions at first, but then it worked like a dream. Very happy with it.

hi, it is a little counter intuitive but works well once you get the idea. When you make one, it is just loop around the needle once, not twice like it seems to say. and when its make one and then knit X stitches, the first of those stitches is the stitch you used to make one into if that makes sense. and using the slip one pass slip stitch over gives you the extra angled pattern. hope that helps, good luck
Hi I am struggling with the yoke pattern I can’t seem to get it right. Can you help me with it.
Thanks have managed to work that one out but I did have problems knitting 5 stitches together!! (top of leaves) Bent my needles and hands ached so after a few attempts resorted to knitting 2 together then 3 together then slipping 1st stitch over the 2nd. Much easier
Is this a top down pattern? And are the leaves chart or written instruction?
Can you help? I've just got the leaves on this cardigan and am confused by the y.fwd, yrn instruction! I realise this means 2 wraps of the needle as it is followed by a knit stitch (all tutorials suggest yrn is used on a purl stitch) but does this make 2 stitches to purl on the reverse or just a bigger hole??!
Gorgeous jumper Kate, I love the colour.
