Product Description
Zachel's Slipper Socks are one of the patterns from Story Maker: an illustrated book of knitting, fibre & fable, a short novel which includes 12 original knitting patterns inspired by the story. The print edition of the book is available from Story Made Yarns.
Notes:
Custom Calf Circumference: To customize the calf circumference to your own measurements, you can substitute the calf-shaping charts from other sizes for the chart called for in your chosen size.
Double-Knit Sole: The slipper sock is designed with a double-thick sole, thanks to a special technique of introducing a section of double-knitting into the colourwork, covering the sole portion of the foot after the heel is turned.
